This polymer banknote is vertically oriented and measures 89 mm x 163 mm. A quantity of 10 million notes will be issued. In addition to the banknote, a commemorative folder (2 million folders) will be available, costing 10 baht. The official press release states that "all the proceeds will be humbly presented to His Majesty the King's discretion."

The Bank of Thailand has released this additional information about the commemorative banknote:

- The portrait of His Majesty King Rama X is intaglio-printed on a golden iridescent background.
- The royal emblem for the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King is printed in dark brown, while the denomination numbers of 100 (in western Arabic and Thai) are printed in red and dark brown.
- The transparent window is printed with special golden ink with a white Garuda image inside the clear window.
- A four-leafed squared flower at the bottom left is printed on the same location on both sides and can be seen against the light (registration device).
- An octagonal clear window can be seen on both sides with a tiny, embossed bullet-wood flower for the blind.
- A shadow image, similar to a watermark, of the Royal Monogram "ว.ป.ร." under the Great Crown of Victory can be clearly observed on both sides when viewing the note against the light.
- The Thai denomination “๑๐๐” is printed across with the 4 transparently raised lines for the blind.
- The Thai diamond-shaped ornament clear window at bottom right has a partial pattern of a yellow star flower with special ink printed in the center. When tilting the note, there will be a moving effect of circle pattern and color changing from gold to green (Spark®).
- The diagonally printed yellow and pink stripes at left and right bottom of the note contain tiny words “ทรงพระเจริญ” that can be seen with a magnifier (microtext).
- Under ultraviolet light, the portrait of His Majesty the King, the Thai traditional design underneath the royal emblem and other components (e.g., special design, plants, yellow-star flowers and yellow stripe with “ทรงพระเจริญ”) fluoresce in yellow.

The banknotes can be purchased at face value at all commercial and state-run banks, including the Government Savings Bank, the Government Housing Bank, the Bank of Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives and the Islamic Bank of Thailand.
